We will be moving from a not quite 900 square foot apartment to an almost 2800 square foot house. WOW!! What are we possibly going to do with this much space? Being the planner that I am, of course I have come up with a few ideas.
In this kitchen shot, you can see several things that are a little odd. The first big one is the cabinet color. Now, I LOVE red for kitchens, but this is a little much even for me. I want to paint the cabinets either white or light gray. The yellow has to go too. I feel like it's screaming at me, and unfortunately it's even louder in person. I'm not really digging either light fixture, appliances need updating, and this floor situation is just... I have no words. Although I have a lot of ideas, some will be better in my head than in real life, and others could go either wonderfully right or horribly wrong. This blog is our journey to turn this house into a home.
We are going to focus our energy on the first floor and the guest bedroom first. We figured that the majority of our time and guests would be in these rooms. Below are some shots from the Realtor since we aren't even in the house yet. More detailed pictures will come as we start and complete projects.
